Croatian singer Danijela Martinović has captivated audiences and sparked a wave of positive reactions after a recent performance where she spontaneously removed her shoes mid-song. While performing her hit "Ajde odmori" at a concert, Martinović, a long-standing figure in the domestic music scene, took off her uncomfortable footwear and continued singing barefoot, much to the delight of the crowd.

The singer later confirmed that this is not an isolated incident, sharing a video of the moment on Facebook with the caption: "I have sung most of my most beautiful concert moments barefoot." This revelation suggests a personal ritual, a way for her to deepen her connection with the music and the stage.

Martinović, whose career spans over 30 years, also touched upon a past health challenge. She recalled undergoing vocal cord surgery about a decade ago, which necessitated a period of silence. She described the experience as psychologically impactful, admitting that the fear of the unknown lingered long after her vocal cords had healed. She emphasized the importance of psychological support during such crises.

Currently, the singer is enjoying her relationship with partner Josip Slavić. She expressed contentment and advised others to "enjoy the moment as much as possible." Describing their connection, Martinović noted their identical outlook on life, stating that a shared glance is often enough.
