Croatian TV offers live traditions and Turkish dramas for summer viewers

Summer television programming in Croatia often defaults to reruns, but live events are proving essential for maintaining viewer engagement. This year, HRT provided extensive coverage of two major Croatian traditions: the Maraton lađa race and the 311th Sinjska alka.

The Maraton lađa, a 22.5-kilometer rowing race from Metković to Ploč, saw over 500 participants in 31 teams. The broadcast included dramatic finishes, with Crni put and Gusari Komin sharing first place.
