Crumbl Cookies opens in Mexico City to massive crowds, plans 80 stores

The arrival of Crumbl Cookies in Mexico City has sparked a frenzy, with hundreds of people lining up for hours to get a taste of the viral American cookie chain.

The brand's first Mexican branch opened its doors on Tuesday, July 28th, in the Roma Norte neighborhood. By early morning, a crowd had already gathered, forming queues that reportedly circled the block. Social media influencers and content creators were present, documenting the opening and sharing the excitement online. One X user, @oscar_report, posted that approximately 800 people were waiting, sharing photos of the extensive line.

Crumbl Cookies has ambitious expansion plans for Mexico, intending to open 80 stores across the country in the next few years. The current location at Durango 225 in Roma Norte operates Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Pricing varies, with individual cookies costing 89 pesos in-store and 199 pesos online. Larger boxes also see significant price differences between physical and online purchases.
