Following the victory, Cucurella expressed his intention to get the tattoo, noting it should be in a visible location and that he would consider ideas during the team's long journey home.

Nine days after the championship win, Cucurella revealed the tattoo on his Instagram account, which boasts 7.4 million followers. The artwork, located on the back of his left arm, features Luis de la Fuente wearing a suit and holding the World Cup trophy. The design was executed by Joaquín Ganga, a well-known Spanish tattoo artist whose clients include athletes like LeBron James and Carlos Alcaraz, as well as musicians such as Travis Scott.

The footballer shared the process of getting the tattoo, emphasizing that "promises are kept." His teammates reacted enthusiastically to the post, with Dani Olmo calling it "historic," Pedro Porro describing him as "pure show," David Raya calling it "the best of this year," and Alejandro Grimaldo adding, "You are pure fantasy."
