Cusco Alto Andino: New tourism circuit opens in imperial city with over 40 attractions

Cusco, Peru – A new tourism circuit, Cusco Alto Andino, has been launched in the historic imperial city, promising visitors an expanded exploration of the region's rich heritage. The initiative unveils more than 40 attractions, offering a deeper dive into the cultural and natural wonders surrounding Cusco.

Among the highlighted destinations is the impressive Waqrapucara archaeological complex, a significant historical site known for its unique rock formations and ancient structures. Visitors will also experience the Q'eswachaka, the last remaining Inca rope bridge, a testament to ancient engineering that is meticulously rebuilt each year by local communities.

The creation of the Cusco Alto Andino circuit is designed to diversify the tourist offerings in one of Peru's most iconic destinations.
