Peru: Beca 18 scholarship winners list to be published August 24

The National Program of Scholarships and Educational Credit (Pronabec) in Peru is set to release the list of winners for the fourth application phase of Beca 18 for the year 2026 this Monday, August 24th. Aspiring students can check their selection status through the official Beca 18 platform and will also receive notifications via their electronic mailbox in the Integrated System of Scholarships and Credit (Sibec).

Those who are selected must complete an additional step to secure their scholarship. The acceptance period will be open from August 25th to 27th and must be done virtually through the Sibec platform. Successfully completing this process will officially grant them the status of scholarship recipients, allowing them access to the benefits for their higher education studies.

The results for this fourth phase are specifically for pre-selected candidates. Following the announcement on August 24th, the acceptance window runs until August 27th. It is crucial for selected individuals to complete this virtual acceptance procedure within the given timeframe, as being selected does not automatically equate to becoming a scholarship holder.

Once accepted, beneficiaries will receive a comprehensive scholarship covering both academic and non-academic expenses. This includes tuition fees, enrollment costs, and degree or diploma fees. Additionally, the scholarship may cover expenses such as food, accommodation, study materials, local transportation, and the provision of a laptop, depending on the specific needs and program requirements.
