Cyber CUFS partners with Kumho E&C for industry education program

Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (CUFS) has partnered with Kumho Engineering & Construction to bolster educational opportunities for professionals in the construction and industrial safety sectors. The agreement, signed on May 18, establishes a framework for industry-based commissioned education, aiming to equip employees with advanced knowledge and skills.

Under the terms of the collaboration, employees of Kumho E&C will benefit from a significant 50% tuition reduction throughout their studies in CUFS's bachelor's and master's degree programs. This initiative is designed to support continuous learning and professional development for individuals working in demanding industrial environments.

CUFS President Moon Hwi-chang emphasized the university's commitment to providing relevant education that meets current industry needs. He noted the growing demand for specialized training in construction safety, stating that the university will strengthen its educational support systems to enhance the expertise and competitiveness of its students. The partnership is expected to foster a more skilled workforce capable of addressing complex challenges in the field.

The agreement was formalized at CUFS's Cyber Hall, with key representatives from both institutions in attendance. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to advancing professional capabilities within the construction industry and promoting lifelong learning among its workforce.
