Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Concludes Successful Summer Korean Language Program

Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (CUFS) announced the successful completion of its summer special lecture for the 'Korean Language Classroom' program, aimed at foreign learners. The program concluded on August 8th after a seven-week run.

Launched on June 27th, the special lecture series was held every Saturday for three hours. It was designed as a tailored social contribution educational program, leveraging CUFS's unique expertise in Korean language education and its professional infrastructure. Notably, the program expanded its reach beyond CUFS's international students to include local foreigners seeking to improve their Korean language skills and adapt to Korean culture, fostering a 'global communication forum.'

The curriculum focused on practical application, equipping intermediate learners with grammar, speaking, and writing skills directly usable in academic and daily life. Participants reported that the program helped them refine their Korean expression and enhance their proficiency.

A CUFS representative expressed gratitude for the students' dedication, noting that their commitment deepened the program's impact. "Thanks to the diligent participation of foreign students, even during the summer break when regular classes are not in session, we were able to add depth to the program," the representative said. "Buoyed by the high satisfaction and support from the participants, we plan to continue offering the Korean Language Classroom for foreigners in the second semester of the 2026 academic year."

CUFS intends to continue its multifaceted educational support initiatives to aid in the linguistic and cultural settlement of both its international students and foreigners residing in the local community, fulfilling its social responsibilities as a global educational institution. The university is currently accepting applications for the second semester of the 2026 academic year until August 18th.
