Cynthia Morgan backs Peter Okoye, says artistes often suffer in silence

Singer Cynthia Morgan has voiced her support for Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, amidst his public feud with his brother, Jude Okoye. Morgan shared her perspective on Instagram, responding to comments that described Peter's emotional expressions as "destructive."

Morgan, speaking from her own experience, explained that artists are often conditioned to prioritize their careers above personal well-being. This conditioning leads them to suppress emotions related to love, grief, abuse, and pressure. "As an artiste, most of us are conditioned to always put our craft over anything," she wrote. "So when you see an artiste that you think has become destructive, just know they’ve maxed out and can no longer pretend."

She emphasized the immense sacrifices entertainers make to build public admiration. "You think you know us, but you don’t," she stated, contrasting this with the perceived easier path for newer artists in the internet age.
