Daejeon O-World's director, Jeong Guk-yeong, has issued a formal apology following the recent escape of a wolf named Neukgu. The wolf, which had been housed in the zoo's safari enclosure, managed to escape on April 8 by digging under the fence. After a tense 10-day search, Neukgu was successfully recaptured on April 17 using a tranquilizer dart.
