Daihatsu Showcases 16 Vehicles, New Sigra at GIIAS 2026

PT Astra Daihatsu Motor is highlighting its commitment to accessible mobility solutions at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. Under the theme "Because You Exist – Everything Becomes Easy," the company is showcasing a range of new vehicles, concept cars, and special editions.

The expansive Daihatsu booth, located in Hall 7-B of ICE BSD City, Tangerang, covers over 1,900 square meters. The auto show, running from July 30 to August 9, 2026, serves as a platform for Daihatsu to present its product development direction and innovations.

Yasushi Kyoda, President Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, stated that the theme embodies the company's vision for sustainable mobility. "We want to showcase Daihatsu's vision in presenting sustainable mobility solutions for the present and future to the public through comprehensive ease in accompanying every journey and vehicle ownership for Daihatsu Friends," Kyoda said.

Kyoda further explained that the theme reflects Daihatsu's dedication to innovating products and services that simplify customer experiences throughout vehicle ownership. This vision is realized through three core pillars: ease of owning a vehicle, ease of use and maintenance, and ease of resale. Daihatsu pledges to continue developing compact mobility solutions tailored to the needs of the Indonesian people, emphasizing their commitment to staying close to customers and enhancing their lives through innovative compact mobility.
