Danei Fire Department Trains Zoumalai Farm Staff for Mango Festival Safety

As Tainan prepares to host the 2026 International Mango Festival, the Danei Fire Department has taken proactive steps to ensure visitor safety. Firefighters conducted training sessions on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) for staff at the Zoumalai Farm, the festival's venue.

The training focused on equipping farm employees with essential life-saving skills. Participants learned the critical "call, call, press, shock" sequence for CPR and the proper operation of AED devices. This initiative is particularly important given the farm's location, where ambulance response times can be up to 10 minutes.

By empowering farm staff with immediate emergency response capabilities, the fire department aims to bridge the critical gap before professional medical help arrives. This proactive measure is expected to significantly improve the chances of survival for individuals experiencing sudden cardiac arrest or other medical emergencies during the festival.
