Danial Asri Joins DPMM FC

DPMM FC has secured the services of winger Danial Asri, a notable acquisition for the upcoming Malaysian League season. The 26-year-old joins from Kuching City FC, where he was a key player, contributing significantly to their second-place finish in the Super League. Danial's move was officially announced by DPMM FC's management.

During his tenure with Kuching City, Danial made 32 appearances across all competitions, netting eight goals and providing four assists. His performance was instrumental in helping "The Cats" secure the Malaysia Cup runners-up position and qualify for the AFC Champions League 2 as league runners-up. DPMM FC described Danial as an excellent signing for the club.

This signing is part of DPMM FC's broader strategy to bolster their squad. The Brunei-based club has also brought in Fariz Izdiham, a former player from Kelantan The Real Warriors FC. Additionally, they have retained the services of influential left-back Tommy Mawat Bada. To strengthen their defense, DPMM FC has signed former Selangor FC goalkeeper Samuel Summerville and ex-Imigresen FC defender Nick Swirad. The team also confirmed the addition of former Dundee FC defender and captain Clark Robertson for the 2026/2027 campaign.
