Dark days over, light is here, Tinubu assures Nigerians on Eid-el-Kabir

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has declared an end to the nation's challenging economic reform period, assuring citizens that the sacrifices endured over the past three years have yielded a more stable economy. He stated that Nigeria is now positioned as a preferred investment destination, poised to drive job creation and economic growth.

In his Eid-el-Kabir message, Tinubu drew a parallel between the sacrifices inherent in the Sallah festival and the economic hardships Nigerians have faced under his administration's reform program. "The walk through the dark tunnel is over, and the light is here," he announced, expressing confidence that the reforms will continue to foster improved security and greater opportunities for all citizens.

Addressing the persistent security issues, President Tinubu acknowledged that despite operational successes, including the recent joint Nigeria-US elimination of a senior ISIS leader in the Lake Chad Basin, terrorists and bandits continue to attack communities. He issued a firm assurance: "you are neither abandoned nor forgotten. We will ultimately defeat all the forces of evil."

He emphasized the theological significance of Eid-el-Kabir, calling on all Nigerians to embrace selflessness, unity, and compassion, virtues exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim's faith and willingness to sacrifice.
