Dashti ends three-decade spell with Qadsia

Nasser Dashti, a prominent figure in Qadsia's volleyball history, has officially ended his 30-year tenure with the club's first team. The veteran player announced his departure, marking the conclusion of a long and successful association with the "Yellow Castle," characterized by numerous domestic and regional achievements.

Despite stepping away from the playing squad, Dashti affirmed that his connection with Qadsia remains strong. He is now focused on his future in the sport, stating his intention to study offers from other clubs and pursue a new experience. Dashti is considered one of Qadsia's most significant volleyball figures, having played a crucial role in many of the team's triumphs and leaving a lasting impact on the sport in Kuwait.

His next career move is expected to be decided soon, as he remains eager to continue competing and leverage the extensive experience gained over three decades. Meanwhile, Qadsia is implementing a phase of renewal within its volleyball section. Mohammed Al-Damkhi has been appointed as the new director, succeeding Ismail Dashti, who has also stepped down from his administrative role. Ismail Dashti extended his best wishes to the new management, technical staff, and players for the upcoming season.
