Datuk Red Skips Court Hearing in Reconciliation Case with Ex-Wife Adira Suhaimi

Entrepreneur Datuk Adnan Abu, widely known as Datuk Red, was notably absent from a court hearing concerning a reconciliation case he filed against his former wife, singer Adira Suhaimi. His lawyer, Muhammad Akmal Amzan, informed the Gombak Barat Syariah Court that his client had unavoidable work commitments, refuting claims that Datuk Red was on a honeymoon with his new wife, Rohanita.

The lawyer also mentioned that Datuk Red had previously indicated the possibility of his absence and confirmed it on the morning of the hearing.

The hearing was scheduled for a motion to withdraw the reconciliation case. Akmal Amzan stated that his client's absence would not hinder the proceedings, as he was prepared to represent Datuk Red. The court session, which lasted nearly two hours, was held in private, with Adira Suhaimi present as the defendant, while Datuk Red was absent due to personal matters.

Datuk Red filed the motion on December 18, alleging that a reconciliation occurred in May 2024, within the 'iddah' period following their divorce. However, Adira Suhaimi has reportedly denied confirming this reconciliation. Adira, whose full name is Siti Adira Suhaimi, had previously expressed surprise at her ex-husband's actions, stating she was unaware of any confirmed reconciliation. Adira and Datuk Red married on December 3, 2015, with Adira being his second wife. They divorced on April 24, 2024, and have four children together: Anggrek, 7; Asan, 6; Anggun, 5; and Ayob, 3.
