David Popovici Aims to Defend European Titles in Paris Pool Championships

Popovici aims to defend his European titles from 2024 in both disciplines.

Popovici's schedule includes heats and potentially semifinals on August 11 for the 100m freestyle, with the final set for August 12. He will then compete in the 200m freestyle, his preferred event, with heats on August 13, semifinals that evening, and the final on August 14. Popovici currently holds the Olympic, World, and European titles in the 200m freestyle.

The championships, running from August 10 to 16, will be fully broadcast on TVR 1 and TVR Sport, covering all morning heats and evening semifinals and finals, allowing viewers to follow Popovici and other Romanian athletes.
