De la Fuente: "Lamine is in perfect condition to play a few minutes"

Spain's coach Luis de la Fuente expressed confidence in Lamine Yamal's fitness, announcing that the young player is in "perfect condition to play a few minutes" in the team's opening match against Cabo Verde. De la Fuente, known for his calm demeanor, compared his practical, short-term approach to that of former coach Vicente del Bosque.

Yamal sustained a thigh injury on April 22 during a match between Barcelona and Celta Vigo. Despite concerns about potential relapses, which carry a 30% risk for such muscular injuries, medical staff from both Barcelona and the Spanish national team have cleared him to play.
