Death Toll Rises to 2 in Osmaniye Armed Fight: Son Dies After His Father

A violent armed confrontation in Osmaniye, Turkey, has claimed the lives of two individuals, escalating from a family dispute into a fatal shooting. The incident occurred on June 13 in the Şehit Kansu Küçükateş neighborhood.

The altercation began between relatives Sinan Tamer and İrfan Tamer. The argument quickly intensified when their sons, Alperen Tamer and Yusuf Tamer, became involved. The situation devolved into an armed fight, with both İrfan Tamer and Yusuf Tamer sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene following reports from bystanders. Both injured men were transported to the hospital for urgent medical treatment. Despite efforts to save them, İrfan Tamer succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital. His body was later released for burial following an autopsy.

Authorities apprehended Sinan Tamer and his son Alperen Tamer at the scene. Following legal proceedings, both suspects were arrested and subsequently remanded in custody. Tragically, Yusuf Tamer, who was receiving treatment at the hospital, also passed away the following morning. His body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
