Afrobeats sensation Davido has publicly retorted to criticism from fellow musician Dauda Rarara, also known as Rarara. The dispute arose after Rarara took issue with Davido's decision to spotlight Nigeria's pressing insecurity crisis during the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert held in Los Angeles.

Rarara had apparently expressed disapproval of Davido using the international platform to draw attention to domestic challenges. However, Davido, whose full name is David Adeleke, appears unfazed by the critique, choosing instead to defend his advocacy for raising awareness about the situation in Nigeria.
