Defense Minister Sjafrie Convenes Forest Control Task Force Officials; Military Chief, Attorney General Attend

Indonesia's Minister of Defense, Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, gathered officials involved in the Task Force for Forest Area Control (PKH) at the Ministry of Defense in Jakarta. The meeting on Monday morning saw the presence of high-ranking officials, including the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, General Agus Subiyanto, and Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin.

Within the PKH Task Force structure, Minister Sjafrie serves as the Steering Chairman. Attorney General Burhanuddin holds the position of First Vice Steering Chairman, and General Agus Subiyanto is the Second Vice Steering Chairman. Notably, the Third Vice Steering Chairman, National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo, was not seen attending the meeting at the Ministry of Defense.

Also present was Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, the Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), who is a member of the Steering Committee for the PKH Task Force. Additionally, Lieutenant General Richard Tampubolon, Chief of General Staff of the TNI, and Kuntadi, Head of the Asset Recovery Center at the Attorney General's Office, attended as the First Executive Vice Chairman and a member, respectively.

The meeting took place not long after Febrie Adriansyah, the former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, was named a suspect by the National Police in a corruption and money laundering case. Febrie Adriansyah had previously held the position of Executive Chairman within the PKH Task Force.
