Delayed University Entrance Exams Announced for Kyrgyz Students

Students in Kyrgyzstan who were unable to participate in the General Republican Test (GRT) during the scheduled period due to valid reasons will have a second chance. The Ministry of Education and the Assessment and Teaching Methods Center (BBOOUB) have announced a delayed stage of the GRT to accommodate these students.

Registration for this make-up testing period is open from June 9 to June 17. The actual tests will take place in Bishkek and Osh between June 19 and June 21. This opportunity is available to applicants who registered for the 2026 GRT but could not attend, provided they have a registration number. However, students who were disqualified from the current year's test are not eligible to participate.

Those needing to re-register, including individuals who missed subject tests or those who registered but did not attend the main GRT, must visit specific registration points. In Bishkek, this is at School No. 24 on Tynystanov Street, 110. In Osh, it is at the city education department on Supanaliev Street, 308. Applicants should bring their form No. 3 (test entry pass) and their passport.

For applicants under 16 without a passport, a birth certificate and a certificate from the school director, verified with the school's seal and including a photograph, are required. If an entry pass is lost, a duplicate can be requested by submitting an application at the registration point. Two identical 3x4 photos are also necessary. Starting in 2026, GRT results will be mandatory for college admissions as well as university entry. This year, over 64,000 applicants registered for the test.
