Dele-Bashiru Scores as Lazio Clinch Season Finale Victory Over Pisa

Nigerian midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru scored a crucial goal as Lazio ended their 2025-26 Serie A campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Pisa. The match at the Stadio Olimpico also showcased fellow Nigerian talent Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, offering a glimpse into the future of Nigeria's national team midfield.

Both Dele-Bashiru and Akinsanmiro are expected to feature prominently for the Super Eagles. Akinsanmiro is slated to join the squad for the 2026 Unity Cup, while Dele-Bashiru has already been selected for high-profile international friendlies against Poland and Portugal.

Lazio initially fell behind in the 23rd minute when Pisa's Stefano Moreo headed home an inviting cross.
