Delfi launches project on 35-year relationships, explores declining interest in leadership roles

Delfi, in collaboration with the home textile brand "Nostra," is launching a new project titled "Kartu 35 metus" (Together for 35 Years). This initiative aims to collect and share stories from individuals who have maintained relationships for 35 years or longer. The project seeks to understand the elements that contribute to the endurance of these bonds over decades, exploring what helps people stay together through life's changes, such as career shifts, moving homes, and raising children.

Gabriele Budriene, Delfi's Head of Content Projects and Conferences, and Karolis Kaminskas, Retail Manager at "Nostra," will discuss the factors that sustain relationships over extended periods. Their insights will shed light on the dynamics of long-term commitment and companionship, providing a platform for people to share their experiences.

In a separate segment, the program will delve into a contemporary workplace trend: the diminishing desire for leadership roles. Despite the increased responsibility that comes with management positions, fewer employees seem eager to pursue them. The discussion will feature insights from Paulius Avižinis, Head and Consultant at "OVC Consulting," and Brigita Tarale, a coaching specialist and leadership training lecturer. They will explore the reasons behind this shift in attitude towards leadership, examining whether factors like salary alone are sufficient to attract individuals to these roles and what organizations can do to adapt to evolving employee expectations.
