Delfina Gómez reaches three years in government with 60% approval among residents of Mexico State, according to the latest Enkoll survey for El Universal. The poll also found that 60% believe the state's situation will improve or remain just as good during the rest of her administration. Thirty-two percent expect conditions to remain just as bad or worsen.

The administration's most recognized projects are the El Insurgente Mexico-Toluca Interurban Train and the Lechería-AIFA Suburban Train. Seventy-four percent of respondents know the first project, while 60% recognize the second. Both receive strongly favorable opinion balances, with scores of 80 and 79 points, respectively. All the projects included in the survey received positive opinion balances.

The poll also measured the electoral landscape ahead of 2027. Morena received 52% of the effective preference among respondents asked which party they would support for federal deputies. The PRI followed with 20%, the PAN with 11%, Movimiento Ciudadano with 10%, the PVEM with 4%, and the Labor Party with 3%.

Party identification showed a similar pattern. Thirty-seven percent identified with Morena, 12% with the PRI, and 6% with the PAN. Movimiento Ciudadano stood at 5%, the PVEM at 3%, the Labor Party at 2%, and the PRD at 1%. Thirty-one percent considered themselves nonpartisan. The survey included 1,212 in-person household interviews with adults in Mexico State, conducted from August 20 to 24, 2026. It reported an approximate margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points and a 95% confidence level.
