Delivering Olympic Values Beyond the Field

As Team Fiji gears up for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, the Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC) is actively promoting Olympic values through its education program. The Olympic Values Education Program team recently conducted outreach in Fiji's Western Division, visiting schools in Malolo and Lautoka, including a special school for disabled persons.

These visits build upon last year's initiatives, which saw the donation of sports equipment and recycling bins to encourage active lifestyles and environmental responsibility. The program's core mission is to embed the Olympic values of Excellence, Respect, and Friendship within communities.
