Delta APC endorses Tinubu, Oborevwori for 2027

Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central Senatorial District have officially endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the 2027 general elections. The endorsement was formalized during a strategic meeting held at the Petroleum Training Institute Conference Centre in Effurun.

Moving the motion for the endorsement, which was seconded by Hon. Halims Agoda, the party’s founding leader, Chief O’tega Emerhor, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for their policies and programmes, which he said were impacting Nigerians and Deltans positively.

The party's founding leader, Chief O’tega Emerhor, moved the motion for the endorsement, commending President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori for their policies and programs that are positively impacting Nigerians and Deltans. The motion was seconded by Hon. Halims Agoda and unanimously adopted through a voice vote, presided over by the Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka.

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo, addressed the gathering, urging all party members to remain steadfast and actively work for the victory of the APC's candidates at all levels. The meeting also saw calls for unity and intensified grassroots mobilization ahead of the upcoming polls.

The motion was subsequently put to a voice vote by the Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, and was unanimously adopted.

Arenyeka highlighted that these stakeholders' meetings across the state's senatorial districts were initiated to strengthen the APC. He noted the growing unity within the party, evidenced by the caliber of personalities present at the Delta Central gathering. He also commended Governor Oborevwori for his efforts in reconciling aggrieved members and reinforcing party structures across Delta State, while assuring defectors from other parties of equal opportunities.
