Democrats are eyeing a northeast Ohio congressional seat as a potential pickup opportunity in their bid to regain control of the U.S. House, focusing on mounting domestic abuse allegations against Republican incumbent Max Miller.

Miller, who served as a White House adviser under President Donald Trump, has been embroiled in a protracted dispute with his ex-wife, the daughter of U.S. Sen. Bernie Moreno. While the allegations have been public for years, they have recently garnered increased media attention. Democrats are capitalizing on this, calling for Miller's resignation and an ethics investigation, while also suggesting increased financial support for his Democratic opponent, union ironworker Brian Poindexter.
