Designer Opens Doors to Favorite Custom-Interior Apartment in Vilnius

Interior designer Eglė Tamaliūnaitė has unveiled one of her favorite projects: a 98-square-meter apartment in Vilnius where nearly every element was custom-made to achieve a distinctive interior. Tamaliūnaitė, founder of the studio "EGLE TAMA," explained that the decision to create bespoke pieces stemmed from an inability to find suitable items on the market. "We couldn't find what we wanted to buy," she stated, inviting viewers into what she described as one of her most unusual creations.

The resulting interior is characterized as moderate yet possessing a strong personality. This approach involved meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to unique design solutions. The emphasis on custom-made furniture and decor allowed for a cohesive aesthetic that perfectly aligns with the designer's vision, avoiding the limitations of mass-produced options.

However, Tamaliūnaitė cautioned that such highly personalized and custom-designed interiors come with a considerable financial commitment.
