Despite the success of The Odyssey, Elliot Page says he has no next project lined up

Elliot Page has received acclaim for playing Sinon in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, but he says no producer has yet called with another project.

Speaking on the podcast On Film... with Kevin McCarthy, Page discussed returning to work with Nolan after their collaboration on Inception in 2010. He admitted that he initially feared he might not have the acting ability required for a character as demanding as Sinon, the Greek figure who deceives the Trojans into bringing the Trojan horse into Argos.

Page said he became so focused on the script that he committed himself fully to the film. Critics later described his performance as intense and memorable, making it one of the most praised elements of the production. The film has become the second-highest-grossing movie of 2026 so far.

When McCarthy asked how Page’s professional life had changed after the film’s success, the answer was less triumphant. Page said he had no project in development and was not receiving a flood of calls from producers. He used the podcast to invite Hollywood filmmakers to contact him.

Page added that the absence of offers might be linked to his being from Halifax, Canada, amid the serious trade and political tensions between Canada and the United States. “I think it’s probably for fairly obvious reasons, the Canada thing,” he said.
