Different labels, one dream

Sisters Shaine Lawson and Diandra Johnson are merging their musical ambitions, launching their first collaborative project under their independent record labels. Lawson heads BhadGadRecord, while Johnson leads DNJ Records. This venture marks a significant step, aiming to introduce their work as producers to a broader audience and signify a new phase in their careers. The sisters, who grew up immersed in music, spent years dissecting songs and imagining a future in the industry. Their shared childhood passion has now evolved into a professional partnership. They consciously chose to establish separate labels initially, prioritizing individual creative growth and brand development. "We've both grown so much individually," Lawson stated.
