Digital creator Jarvis clarifies shaved hair was for wedding hairstyle, not tradition

Digital creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, widely known as Jarvis, has debunked speculation that she shaved her head as part of a traditional marital rite before her wedding to fellow TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller. Jarvis clarified that the decision was solely for hairstyling purposes, explaining that her hairstylist recommended the haircut to ensure her wig and hair extensions would fit perfectly for her bridal looks.

"I shaved my hair because I wanted my hair installation to be perfect," Jarvis stated on social media. She further explained that her natural hairline had previously made it difficult to achieve the desired finish when installing frontal wigs. Her hairstylist advised shaving her hair due to its texture, describing it as "stubborn."

The couple recently concluded their highly publicized wedding celebrations with a white wedding ceremony. Peller and Jarvis held their wedding on Saturday, with parts streamed live online. They had previously announced a reduced guest list for the white wedding, citing issues at their traditional wedding where some attendees reportedly focused on recording content rather than celebrating with them. Peller also stated that bloggers would be barred from the white wedding, describing it as a more private event for close family and friends.
