Dinamo Zagreb Reports Limited Impact from Alleged Hacker Attack, No Card Data Compromised

GNK Dinamo, the Croatian football club, has released new details regarding a reported security incident, assuring that there is no danger of further similar events. Following a notification about a potential security breach, the club initiated an internal investigation and engaged external, independent security experts to determine the circumstances.

News emerged that a hacker group, INF GRUPA, claimed on the dark web to have infiltrated Dinamo's official website and was sharing private data of club members for free. The Zagreb-based club initially responded on social media, confirming an internal probe and the involvement of technological specialists.

According to the club's latest statement, the investigation suggests the incident did not occur directly on GNK Dinamo's web servers. The scope of the breach is described as limited, and the club's data processors have indicated that there is no risk of other identical incidents. Measures are currently being taken to further strengthen the security of all data.

Dinamo emphasized that no payment card information or passwords were compromised. The affected personal data varies depending on the individual member but may include name, surname, personal identification number (OIB), contact details, and other information voluntarily provided. Since not all members were affected, those impacted will be notified via email. The club also urged all users to be vigilant about suspicious emails, protect their passwords, and ensure they are complex and regularly updated.
