Dinamo Zagreb set to complete deals for Kotarski, Almena and Ivanušec

Dinamo Zagreb is adding three players in the final stages of the transfer window, including the return of Luka Ivanušec and a new goalkeeper in Dominik Kotarski.

Kotarski has already taken the first formal step toward joining the Croatian champions by undergoing a medical examination. He is expected to arrive from Fenerbahçe on a one-year loan, after Dinamo abandoned its effort to sign Dominik Livaković on a two-year loan.

Iker Almena will provide another option on the wing. The Spaniard, who recently played for Hajduk, spent his latest period in Saudi Arabia and is expected to join Dinamo on loan with a purchase option.

Ivanušec is returning to a club where he previously made a strong impression. He is expected to arrive as a free agent after reaching a mutual agreement to end his contract with Feyenoord. His move took longer to arrange because Dinamo first needed to resolve his situation with the Dutch club.

The three arrivals will increase competition across the squad. Coach Mario Kovačević will need to manage a large group of players, including several who are still returning from injuries. The club expects Kotarski to strengthen the goalkeeping options, Almena to add width and Ivanušec to contribute again in midfield and attack.
