Disregard Adeleke’s attack on Oyetola over drones, APC tells public

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Governor Ademola Adeleke to cease blaming his predecessor, Adegboyega Oyetola, for the state's security challenges, particularly the alleged disappearance of five security drones. The APC stated that Adeleke has been shifting blame for three and a half years.

The party's spokesperson, Kola Olabisi, reacted to an allegation by Adeleke's spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, that five security drones purchased under the Oyetola administration could not be found. Rasheed had also mentioned Adeleke's consideration of acquiring new drones to enhance state security.

Olabisi urged the public to disregard Adeleke's claims about the drones, calling them a blatant lie intended to mislead the public for political gain. "It was our belief that the embattled Governor Adeleke would put an end to the running of his administration with lies and subterfuge towards the tail end of his administration that is winding up in November this year but unfolding events have shown that it is pretty impossible for a leopard to change its colour," Olabisi stated.

The APC spokesperson declared that Oyetola never purchased any drones during his four-year term and challenged Adeleke to produce documentation as proof. The party advised the public to hold Governor Adeleke accountable should any security breaches occur in Osun State.
