DJ Swallow discovers and removes benign breast tumors

Taiwanese DJ Swallow, also known as Yao Jiao, recently underwent surgery to remove two benign tumors from her right breast. The discovery occurred unexpectedly during a pre-operative examination for a planned replacement of her breast implants.

Swallow, who performed for three consecutive days at the Kaohsiung Beer Music Festival, was initially scheduled to upgrade her "Motiva" implants to a newer material. However, pre-surgery checks revealed two tumors, each approximately 2.5 centimeters in size, in her right breast. Fortunately, further examinations confirmed they were benign, and she underwent a successful minimally invasive surgery to remove them. Swallow expressed immense relief, stating, "It is truly a blessing in disguise."

She shared that the tumors might have gone undetected if not for the decision to change her implants and undergo a thorough pre-operative examination. Swallow noted that the implants themselves made it difficult to feel any abnormalities through self-examination. Her husband provided unwavering support throughout the process, emphasizing that "health is the most important thing, no matter what."

Beyond her health scare, Swallow also spoke about the online criticism she has faced over the years due to her revealing stage outfits. She recounted being subjected to harsh comments online, being called "vulgar," "immoral," and "lowly." She questioned her critics, asking, "I have large breasts, do you think I am dirty?" Swallow revealed that her husband had previously defended her online, responding assertively to detractors. Despite the negativity, she finds strength in her husband's support and love.
