Djokovic sets record in epic Wimbledon quarterfinal win

Novak Djokovic advanced to the Wimbledon semifinals after a grueling five-hour and fifteen-minute battle against Felix Auger-Aliassime. The Serbian star secured his spot by winning the epic quarterfinal match 7:6 (12:10), 3:6, 6:3, 6:7 (4:7), and 7:6 (10:4).

However, the 25-year-old Canadian Auger-Aliassime mounted a comeback, winning three consecutive games to force another tiebreak, which he took 7:4 to send the match into a decisive fifth set.

Both players held their serves confidently in the final set, leading to a deciding tiebreak. Djokovic's experience and composure ultimately prevailed, as he clinched the victory. He is now set to face top-seeded Jannik Sinner in the semifinals, after Sinner defeated Jan-Lennard Struff in straight sets.
