Dmitry Medvedev’s furious attack on Germany: ‘It deserves a direct strike on all military equipment factories supplying Ukraine’

Dmitry Medvedev has called for direct strikes on German facilities supplying military equipment to Ukraine and appeared to hint at attacks against European leaders travelling by train to Kyiv.

In an angry Telegram post, the former Russian president said Germany “deserves a direct strike on all German factories producing military equipment for the Banderist clique,” as well as, “very probably, other places in Berlin.” His remarks followed Berlin’s accusation that Russia was responsible for an incident at Leipzig/Halle airport.

Berlin has accused Russia of an unproven attack on Leipzig airport. Given the neo-Nazi and extremely Russophobic orientation of Germany’s current leadership, this invented diversion represents the easiest punishment for their sins. They deserve a direct strike on all German factories producing military equipment for the Banderist clique. And, very probably, other places in Berlin as well.

A drone carrying explosives was found near a Ukrainian cargo aircraft at the airport. Germany subsequently announced measures against Moscow, including the closure of Russia’s Consulate General in Bonn and the abandonment of plans to build a Russian House in Berlin.

Medvedev also referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s threats concerning Russian civil aviation. He said Russian President Vladimir Putin had described those threats as an attempt by what he called the “Banderist regime” to commit state terrorism. Medvedev added that Western heads of state, especially European leaders, were sponsors of terrorism and noted that they often travelled to Kyiv by train, ending the post with suggestive ellipses.

Putin separately questioned the evidence behind accusations against Moscow and linked them to Germany’s domestic political difficulties. “There are obvious problems in the economy, companies are closing, people are losing their jobs, and living standards are falling,” he said. “The only explanation would be that they need to oppose aggressive Russia. But where is the evidence?”
