Dog Stays by Unconscious Owner's Side During Zagreb Fire Rescue

Firefighters in Zagreb, Croatia, responded to a commercial space fire early Saturday morning, discovering an unconscious woman in one of the rooms, with her dog remaining faithfully by her side.

Before the arrival of the fire department, citizens made initial attempts to combat the fire using extinguishers. Firefighters then forced entry into the locked premises and successfully extinguished the blaze, which had affected an area approximately six by four meters. Following the fire suppression, they proceeded to ventilate and search the space.

In one of the rooms, they found the woman alive but unconscious. The area where she was located was not directly impacted by the flames. Firefighters immediately administered aid, providing oxygen until an emergency medical team arrived. The woman was subsequently transported for medical examination.
