Dompu Regent Urges Principals to Enhance Quality and Fair Service

Dompu Regent Bambang Firdaus has called on 62 newly appointed school principals to prioritize educational quality and equitable student services. During their inauguration and oath-taking ceremony in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara, Firdaus highlighted that the appointment signifies a greater responsibility in leading educational institutions.

He urged the principals to immediately build strong communication and coordination with all staff to create a harmonious work atmosphere. Firdaus stressed that principals bear the hopes of the school community, parents, and the government for improved education. "The great hope is on you, principals, to ensure teaching and learning activities run well and education in Dompu becomes more qualified," he stated.

The Regent also encouraged principals to foster innovation and creativity to meet the needs of students and the expectations of parents and the community. He specifically emphasized the principle of fairness in education, stating, "In educating and serving children, treat them the same. Do not play favorites. Be fair. Whether they are children of officials, farmers, or anyone else, give them the same treatment." This, he explained, ensures all students have equal opportunities to learn and achieve their dreams, irrespective of their socioeconomic background.

Firdaus further advised principals to create safe and comfortable school environments and build good working relationships with teachers. He believes that a conducive atmosphere facilitates coordination and cooperation, enabling everyone to work towards common goals. He congratulated the newly appointed principals, urging them to carry out their duties responsibly and contribute significantly to improving education in Dompu.
