Dongwon University Baseball Team Conquers National Championship in Just Five Years

Dongwon Institute of Science and Technology (DIST) has achieved a remarkable feat, clinching the championship title at the 60th Presidential Cup National University Baseball Championship. This victory comes just five years after the baseball team's establishment, marking a rapid ascent to the top of collegiate baseball in South Korea.

The DIST baseball team secured the championship trophy by defeating Yeoju University with a final score of 5-3 in a hard-fought final match. Throughout the tournament, the team demonstrated a robust pitching staff and exceptional team play, maintaining a strong momentum that propelled them through the rounds.
