Vietnam reaches Southeast Asian Championship final after defeating Malaysia

Vietnam's opponent in the final will be their traditional rival, Thailand. Thailand reached the final after a closely contested semi-final against Singapore, winning on aggregate despite a 1-1 draw in the second leg after a 3-2 victory in the first. Thailand defeated Vietnam in the 2022 final, winning 3-2 on aggregate. The final match is scheduled to take place in Thailand on December 22.
