Double Danish Wolf Warnings Issued as Animals Approach People

Danish authorities are alerting the public to the presence of wolves nearing human settlements in two separate locations. Warnings have been issued for areas in Skagen and central Jutland, approximately 250 kilometers apart.

The alerts follow sightings of wolves in close proximity to people. In Skagen, a man encountered a wolf cub accompanied by an adult wolf that bared its teeth. While the situation is not deemed a significant public danger, residents are advised to avoid the popular Bunken Klitplantage area.

Separately, in a town north of Esbjerg in western Jutland, a wolf has been observed entering gardens and approaching playing children at least three times. Although the wolf has not displayed aggressive behavior, it has also not retreated when attempts were made to scare it away.

Authorities are actively tracking this particular wolf using drones and ground hunters in an effort to manage the situation and ensure public safety.
