Double homicide in Aigeia: Forensic findings reveal mother and son stabbed to death

The Greek town of Aigeia is reeling from a horrific double homicide that claimed the lives of a 54-year-old woman and her 26-year-old son. Shocking findings from the forensic examination have revealed the brutal nature of the attack, with both victims sustaining numerous stab wounds. The mother, in particular, showed clear signs of defensive injuries, suggesting she attempted to fight off her assailant. The primary suspect in custody is the woman's 65-year-old Italian partner, who faces charges of serial premeditated murder. However, he vehemently denies any involvement, claiming he was drugged and unaware of the events. According to reports, the fatal blows were concentrated in the chest area, specifically targeting vital organs, indicating a deliberate and targeted assault. The initial autopsy on the scene identified between 20 to 25 stab wounds on the mother's body. The suspect's defense is preparing to file for his release, asserting his innocence and presenting a defense that suggests the woman may have harmed her son and then herself.
