DPP candidate for New Taipei City mayor, Su Chiao-hui, known as "Otter Mom," attended a "Water Fun Family Water Pad Carnival" in Sanchong District, organized by city council candidate Chen Chun-wei. The event featured water guns, creating a joyful atmosphere for families.

Su Chiao-hui expressed her delight at the children's enthusiasm for the water play, thanking Chen Chun-wei for organizing the fun activity. She suggested that such events, perhaps in collaboration with the fire department, could also serve to educate about disaster prevention and rescue knowledge, combining learning with fun. She noted the strong support from local village chiefs, indicating a unified front for Chen Chun-wei's candidacy and, by extension, her own mayoral bid.
