Dr Pant appointed new FETA Chair

The Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards (FETA) has announced the appointment of Dr. Paresh Pant as its new Chair. Dr. Pant, who currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Fiji, takes over from Debra Sadranu, who has chaired the organization for the past four years.

During Sadranu's tenure, FETA saw significant growth in its credibility as Fiji's primary platform for recognizing achievements in the tourism sector. She was also key in securing the Fiji Development Bank as the naming rights sponsor, which bolstered the event's profile and financial stability.

She steps down to focus on the growth of her business, Nama Fiji, which includes preparations to host the prestigious CIDESCO conference in Fiji later this year.

Sadranu is departing FETA to dedicate her efforts to her business, Nama Fiji, and to prepare for hosting the upcoming CIDESCO conference in Fiji. She expressed gratitude to sponsors and partners for their contributions to making the awards a flagship event.
