'Dragon Ball' magic prevails as rain god retreats, Penghu Fireworks Festival concludes successfully

The Penghu International Maritime Fireworks Festival drew to a close on August 25th, marking the end of an extended four-month run with a dazzling final ceremony. The event culminated in a spectacular 720-second fireworks display over the bay of Guanyinting, accompanied by a 'Dragon Ball Z' themed drone light show that illuminated the night sky.

Attendees were treated to a lineup of musical performances, including artists like Lin Fan, Kimberley Chen Fang-yu, and the band MIXER, who provided a diverse range of musical styles. The festival aimed to blend music, animation, and light shows, creating a grand finale that celebrated the summer. The closing ceremony was attended by local dignitaries, including the Vice County Magistrate and the Speaker of the Council, alongside numerous guests and residents who gathered to witness the event.
