Chiang Wei, celebrating his upcoming 34th birthday, allowed just three hits and fanned seven batters, lowering his ERA to an impressive 1.32. His performance on the mound was crucial in shutting down the Lions' offense. He managed to escape jams in the fourth and fifth innings with runners in scoring position, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure.
