If we're really going to go at it on the court, I can go head-to-head with anyone on that list, and I think I'm better than these guys."

Despite his strong reaction, Green also expressed gratitude for being listed among legendary players like Larry Bird, Kevin Garnett, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant. He considers it an honor to be in the top 10 of another historical list.

As a key defensive player and emotional leader for the Warriors' four championship teams, Green's "mind games" have often frustrated opponents. While he disputes his ninth-place ranking, many observers believe his on-court intensity and verbal prowess make him a strong candidate for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame after his playing career.
