Driver collapses at the wheel, crashes into retaining wall

A truck driver lost control of his vehicle on Türkeş Boulevard after experiencing a sudden medical episode while behind the wheel. The driver, identified as Naim H., was operating a truck with license plate 37 PP 126 when he became unwell.

As a result of losing control, the truck veered off the road and entered the garden of a furniture store located by the roadside. The vehicle knocked down lighting poles and trees along its path before continuing for approximately 150 meters and ultimately crashing into a retaining wall.

Emergency services, including health and traffic teams, were dispatched to the scene following the incident. Medical personnel provided initial treatment to the injured driver before he was transported to Kastamonu Education and Research Hospital for further medical care. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
